My 4 year old daughter has been in the ‘mommy I NEED you!!!’ Phase.. which has been hard when daddy works nights and it’s just me getting both kids to bed. This book helps your child understand that you are there and still love them but they also have important things they need to do., Mama llama was getting him to bed and she gets a phone call, then starts doing dishes, etc. sound familiar? Haha. Mom life! He starts to worry and fret but in the end his mom came back- like always :), It’s not my daughters favorite book by a long shot though. And it’s our first llama in the red pajamas book…But she’s more interested in pinkalicious or fancy Nancy 😅 she lets me read it all the way through! Which is great- I want to plant that seed at least!, I would highly recommend!!

My daughter (2) and I read this every night! Love the llama llama books, they deal with difficult situations/strong emotions in such a concise and relatable way for toddlers. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you have a little one who’s struggling with separation anxiety at bedtime.

I love reading this book with my little one! It repeats words to help with vocabulary, has cute pictures, and is fun to do different voices. My little one seems to enjoy it too. Its one our favorite.

This is a great book for small children, fun to read. Also nice for an early readers. It gets used a lot.

My 3 year old granddaughter enjoys hearing the reactions of Baby Llama, and imitates them as I read to her. Such an enjoyable story and we are pleased with the quick delivery.
