Description
With more than 30 million books sold, My Weird School really gets kids reading! In the very first book in the laugh-out-loud My Weirdest School series, A.J.’s third-grade teacher at Ella Mentry School, Mr. Granite, is retiring after a million hundred years. It turns out the new teacher, Mr. Cooper, is even weirder than Mr. Granite! One day he’s Rat Man and he teaches about rodents. The next day he’s Lava Man and he teaches about volcanoes. But what happens when the school is threatened by a supervillain and a real superhero is needed? Will Mr. Cooper protect the school from evil, or just embarrass it to death? Perfect for reluctant readers and word lovers alike, Dan Gutman’s hugely popular My Weird School series has something for everyone. Don’t miss any of the hilarious adventures of A.J. and the gang—from Weird, to Weirder, to Weirder-est!

I liked this book because it had been very funny. what I didn’t like was that it was so easy to read. I just got this today and up already finished it.😩 but the book was funny so read it you will enjoy it.

My son, a 3rd grader, hates to read. It’s been a battle for so long and I’m just worn out. By a sheer stroke of luck I stumbled over this book series and guess what, my son has stopped running to his room and locking his door when I ask him to read. He loves these books. I confess I have not read them, but he says they are funny and they keep his interest. Brace yourself for the shocker: he asked me to order more from the series. I almost had to be rushed to the E. R. Still in shock. I did order more immediately.

All readers will enjoy his books, but especially reluctant readers. These have pictures like Captain Underpants and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, but parents like these much better.
