Nice projects for parents to help kindergartners and up do. There is a lot of reading in a smaller print-suitable for grade three and up. I purchased this for my 6 yo granddaughter under the advice of her mom. Her parents and 8 1/2 yo big sister-a higher level reader- can read it for her. A must buy to go along with this is the story book. It is part of a series I recommend highly.

Got this as a gift along with the story book for my niece. Is a really good companion piece to get kids thinking about their own experiments, and using their imagination. Love that there is an element of science to this – especially since it is geared towards girls., I also like how they can start building things with everyday objects in the house – like paper towel rolls – and does not necessarily require a lot of crazy supplies.

This book is a must for teaching young kids about perseverance and allowing them to develop their imagination. I would recommend purchasing the book Rosie Revere Engineer along with the Big Project Book. Some of the activities make more sense once you’ve read the original story.
